V. International Conference on Biomedical Technology (ICBT) in Hannover – a home match for SIIRI!

The ICBT, organized by Prof. Dr. Thomas Lenarz, Prof. Dr. Meike Stiesch, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Udo Nackenhorst and Prof. Dr.-Ing Peter Wriggers – among others all project leaders of SIIRI – took place from November 06th – 08th 2023 in Hannover. This interdisciplinary conference with a focus on “Technology meets Medicine” was dedicated to interdisciplinary implant research.
Prof. Dr. Tania Hanekom, Prof. Dr. Waldo Nogueira, M.Sc. Felix Klempt, Dr. Szymon Szafranski, Dr. Katharina Nikutta, Dr. Eike Jakubowitz and Dr.-Ing. Florian Nürnberger presented in their exciting lectures the close interaction of all research disciplines necessary for the development of safety-integrated and infection-reactive implants. They also answered the colleagues’ questions in the subsequent discussion.
