The Research Training Group (IRTG) “Implant Technologies” aims to qualify young researchers, especially doctoral candidates, in the field of biomedical and implant technology. Our measures are designed to promote both the professional and personal skills of the doctoral candidates in our interdisciplinary network. In addition to deepening their knowledge in their specific research area, doctoral candidates learn theoretical and practical principles from the various disciplines of the SIIRI projects. These should then lead to a comprehensive understanding of implant science.
The Research Training Group is aimed at doctoral candidates from the natural sciences, engineering and social sciences as well as from human medicine and dentistry. As the first Research Training Group at the MHH and LUH, the IRTG is aligned with the objectives according to the European Qualifications Framework for Scientific Careers (R1) and the Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (Level 8).
