The SIIRI team congratulates Prof. Dr.-Ing. Berend Denkena, SIIRI projectleader and head of the Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools (IFW) at Leibniz Universität Hannover, on his appointment as President of the International Academy of Production Engineering (CIRP). This award recognizes his outstanding achievements and his many years of contribution to research and development in production engineering.
As head of the IFW and projectleader in SIIRI, Prof. Denkena has made a significant contribution to the promotion of innovative research approaches. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and wish him every success in his new role.
