We are very pleased to welcome Prof. Andreas Dietzel and Prof. Stephan Reichl as part of our Implant Lecture Series.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Dietzel
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

Prof. Dr. Stephan Reichl
Department of Pharmaceutics
Technische Universtität Braunschweig

Professor Andreas Dietzel works at the Institute of Microtechnology, and Professor Stephan Reichl is based at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmaceutics, both at the Technical University of Braunschweig. Their collaborative project focuses on the application of 3D cell culture models of epithelial and endothelial barriers for the investigation of drug transport processes, utilizing “Organ-on-Chip” technology, with the goal of minimizing animal testing in the future. This lecture for our Implant Lecture Series is titled:

“Organ-on-chip systems for preclinical drug testing”

A special thank you to Professor Meike Stiesch, who will moderate this event. Please note that this seminar will be held exclusively online via Microsoft Teams.
