We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jasmina Gačanin from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz will be our guest speaker for the upcoming Implant Lecture.
Dr. Gačanin leads the research group “Cell-Instructive Materials” at MPI-P in Mainz. Her research focuses on the development of multifunctional 3D biohybrid materials that stimulate cellular processes to promote tissue healing and drug delivery. In particular, hybrid hydrogels have the potential to be used as minimally invasive therapeutic options in regenerative medicine and skin treatments.
Her lecture, titled:
“Introducing functions with supramolecular gelators: from molecules towards 3D materials and applications”
will provide us with exciting insights into the latest advances in supramolecular gelators and their application in 3D materials.
Following the lecture, we look forward to an engaging discussion with you.
We would also like to express our gratitude to Prof. Dr. Cornelia Lee-Thedieck, who will be moderating this event.
