We are delighted to welcome Prof. T. Christian Gasser for the second time as part of our Implant Lecture Series.

Professor Thomas Christian Gasser, a recipient of the Humboldt Research Award, is affiliated with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. His research focuses on the development of computational models to simulate aortic aneurysms, aiming to enhance the understanding of the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms. The ultimate goal of his work is to support the development of more accurate diagnostic tools and more effective treatment strategies. His lecture will be presented under the preliminary title:
“Soft tissue mechanics and cardiovascular system”
We look forward to the upcoming Implant Lecture in August, which will be moderated by Dr. Meisam Soleimani from the Institute of Continuum Mechanics at Leibniz University Hannover.
