Professor Demircan Canadinç is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Koç University, Istanbul. As part of the Advanced Materials Group (AMG), his research focuses on the mechanics and microstructure of metallic materials, AI-based materials design, and multiscale simulation of material behavior. Prof. Canadinç’s lecture for our Implant Lecture Series is titled:
“Engineering Materials for Safer Implants: a Metallurgist’s Perspective”
