Continuation of the SIIRI — Seminar of Women in Science with Prof. Susanne Häußler
On September 26, our SWS – Seminar of Women in Science entered its second round, and we had the great pleasure of welcoming Prof. Susanne Häußler for an inspiring keynote lecture.
Prof. Häußler, Director of the Institute of Molecular Bacteriology at TWINCORE, project leader at SIIRI, and head of a lab at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, shared her exciting experiences from her impressive career. In her lecture, she discussed her outstanding research, which opens new perspectives in bacteriology.
After the lecture, participants had the opportunity to engage in a relaxed discussion during a get-together. The event was a great success and provided valuable insights into the world of science from the perspective of a successful woman in research.
