On June 26, 2023, the 2nd International SIIRI-SEAM Symposium took place moderated by Prof. Dr. Henning Menzel (SIIRI) and Prof. Dr. Peter Kingshott (SEAM) from 08:00 to 11:00 via MS Teams. The symposium program covered key topics on the latest advancements in biomedical engineering, materials science, and interdisciplinary research collaborations. The symposium also highlighted the successful integration of joint projects between SIIRI and SEAM, which promote valuable international collaborations. A particular focus was on the exchange between Swinburne University and SIIRI, which has opened exciting opportunities for collaborative research in areas such as implant technology and advanced materials. This collaboration enables students and researchers from both institutions to gain valuable experience and new perspectives.
These collaborative efforts not only strengthen scientific exchange but also contribute to finding innovative solutions for future challenges in implant research and development.
